Qaid Jawhar entered Egypt. The Imam had sent his commander in chief, Qaid Jawhar al-Siqqili to conquer Egypt and build a new city, starting with the masjid, al-Jame al-Azhar. He had sent instructions on how and where the masjid, the palace and other parts of the city should be built. Then, two years later, he graced the city by his own presence and made it the capital of the Fatimi empire. From this day on, Fatimi fiqh was established as the official fiqh in Egypt. The azan was given with "hayyala khayril amal" and the Misri calendar, which we use today, was established as the official state calendar.

The 27th Dai, Syedna Dawood bin Qutbshah (AQ) reached Lahore, at the court of Akbar, the Moghul Emporer. Sulayman had made a claim to be the Dai and had taken his case to Akbar. On this day, Syedna arrived in Lahore for the hearing. Akbar treated Syedna with great respect and eventually ruled in his favour.
