Words of Amirul Mumineen (AS) regarding Hajj.
"Know, that Allah Subhanahu has made Hajj to His sacred house incumbent upon you. Allah has made it the Qiblah of the whole world, towards which they are destined and they journey to seek shelter....People gather around it to satisfy their longing for faith as animals gather around a watering place to satiate their thirst and as pigeons seeking refuge from dangers. Allah Subhanahu has made Hajj a symbol of submission of the people towards his greatness. And He has selected those listening creatures of His, who have answered His call and testified for His aposteles, and have come to stand in places where Allah's prophets have long stood. These are the people, who have resembled the angels of Allah who circulate around His 'Arsh', and are seeking the benifits of Allah's Ibadat, His promised forgiveness."
"Allah Subhanahu has made the Ka'ba an emblem of Islam and a 'Haram' (Sacred place of hope and safety) for those who journey towards it. He has obliged all to perform Hajj towards it and commanded a journey for the sake, in His Holy Book. Allah says:"
"Hajj is a duty laid down, in the sake of Allah, upon all those who have the means to accomplish it."
