Wafat: 27th Muharram al-Haraam circa 5/6th Century H
Taherabad, India
Syedi Fakhruddin Al-Shaheed was delegated to the towns of Waagar (NW India) by the Waali of Hind, Mowlaya Y`aqub (QS - successor to Mowlaya Abdullah QS). Syedi Fakhruddin mowla propogated D`awat there and in Moharramul haraam he conducted Ashara w`aaz in Galyakot. He lead Mumineen in buka and matam of Imam Husain (AS) and accepted their wajebaat. Thereafter he left Galyakot on the 27th of that month but was attacked by bandits near a lake just outside the town. Despite a valiant defence he eventually fell, his qabr mubarak is in that spot.
Syedi Fakhruddin Al-Shaheed was a saheb of miracles and virtues. He had the ability to make metal go soft just as Dawood Nabi (AS) was able to.
His father, Mowlaya Tarmal and he performed D`awat's khidmat with such dedication that Allah t`aala's reward has been that Du`aat Kiraam and Hudaat `Izaam are from amongst their descendants; Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Aqa (TUS) is one. So too are the likes of Syedi Shamas Khan and Syedi Hasanji Badshah.
